Kathryn
Hull was born and raised in Houston, Texas to mother
Stormy Hull and Father David Hull. As a child Katy
was practically raised in Neiman Marcus, which only
fueled her flair for fashion. Katy's parents were
always her biggest supporters and felt that her
creative talent should be nurtured as well as balanced
with a solid education: it was no surprise that
at 16 Katy left the nest to do just that at an East
Coast Prep school, Blair Academy. Soon after completing
University of Denver with a B.A. in English, Katy
packed up and moved out to warm Los Angeles to pursue
her dreams of fashion design. After graduating from
FIDM with a degree in fashion design, Katy served
as an apprentice, and later went on to design for
BCBG by Max Azaria. For the next few years Katy
worked and designed at various Los Angeles fashion
companies learning the ins and outs of the fashion
industry. It was only in 2006 when Katy was shopping
for bachelorette gifts that she discovered a passion
for lingerie and felt there was a market for contemporary
high-end modern lingerie. Since then, Katy has been
designing for Déshabillé (French for
"to take off your clothes") Lingerie by
Kathryn: a line of lingerie for fashion conscious
women with a contemporary edge to enjoy for special
occasions or just every day. Drawing inspiration
from fabulous French lingerie, while keeping a practical
fit, Déshabillé Lingerie ames to give
you a sexy design with an impeccable quality and
fit so you feel your very sexiest... In short, it's
what the french famously say...
"Let them eat cake!"
